MIS Retail Support Specialist

Country Curtains is seeking for a Retail Support Specialist to aid our Retail folks when all systems are not go. The ideal candidate would be patient, possess excellent listening skills and be a fairly quick troubleshooter when it comes to all systems retail and beyond.
Job Description:
The MIS Retail Support Specialist is the primary contact for our retail arm of the business. They are responsible for automating processes when possible and assisting in training other Support Specialists for good knowledge transfer, specifically from a retail perspective. This position periodically tests and validates that security policies and procedures are being followed in the stores and in the store networks. As part of the MIS team, the Retail Support Specialist assists with all daily operations/help desk tasks within the home office as needed.

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma, BS in a computer related field a plus
2. Experience with PC applications and Windows-based operating systems
3. Knowledge of patch installation on various platforms
4. Strong overall computer skills
5. Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills for interactions with users, managers and vendors
6. Working understanding of personal computers
7. Ability to maintain confidentiality
8. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
9. Able to lift up to 50 pounds

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
