Controller
Experienced Controller Needed!
Boyd Technologies, a privately owned company, seeks a controller to oversee accounting functions in accordance with GAAP standards. They will be responsible for supervising accounting staff, maintaining internal controls, five year budgets, projections, cash flow and income and sales taxes. The Controller will also oversee HR and IT functions. The Controller will report to the Vice President of Finance and work closely with the company President.
This position is located in the Lee, Massachusetts manufacturing facility and the selected candidate will be required to work from this office.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, MBA preferred
CPA or working towards CPA
5-10 years of relevant accounting experience; previous experience within a manufacturing environment is required.
CPA firm experience may be accepted towards some of the required years of experience
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and small business accounting software
Prior experience with MRP or ERP preferred
Strong oral and writing skills
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
