TREASURER/ COLLECTOR'S CLERK Clerical, record keeping and support work, primarily processing municipal employee payroll and benefits claims and collecting municipal tax and utility payments.
Applicant must be a high school graduate with high school or post high school courses in bookkeeping or accounting; and, s/he must have two years of bookkeeping, payroll and or/benefit processing work experience.
Applicant must be familiar with Microsoft Office and be able to master specialized municipal software.
Regular 35 hour/5 day workweek.
Salary range of $26,818 to $35,616 plus benefits.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
